1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Hoops ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Hoops is a basketball shot tracking application that helps you:

• Log and track your shooting practice sessions
• Monitor your progress with various shot types
• View statistics and analytics about your performance (Premium feature)
• Sync data across your Apple devices via iCloud

3. Premium Subscription

Premium subscribers get access to:

• Advanced analytics and statistics charts
• Historical performance insights
• Trend analysis and progress tracking

3.3 Billing

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price

3.4 Cancellation

• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds will be provided for partial subscription periods
• You will retain access to Premium features until the end of your paid period

3.5 Free Trial

If a free trial is offered:

• The trial period will be specified at sign-up
• You will not be charged during the trial period
• The trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends
• Any unused portion of a free trial will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when using the App
• Use the App only for lawful purposes
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Not use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service
• Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, functionality, and design elements of Hoops are owned by the developer and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without explicit permission.

6. User Data

You retain ownership of the data you create within the App (shooting sessions, statistics, etc.). By using the App, you grant us permission to store and process this data as necessary to provide the service. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• That the App will be uninterrupted or error-free

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data
• Loss of profits
• Loss of goodwill
• Service interruption

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the App.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
